"Susan Muir has been a fiercely independent soul ever since she was a little girl hunting with her father, and her older brother, out in the woods!

After high school, she packed up her stuff, including her guns and knives, and told her dad she was going to live alone in the wilderness with the spirits!

The feed yourself, or die, northern Alaskan life prepared her for the harsh life she leads, and hard it is... but, she is of the wild!

It is the dead winter of now... and the snow has entombed her log cabin... and now she is as wild as she has always wanted to be... as wild as the hungry snow spirits scratching on the cabin as they migrate searching for food... so souls!"
