(Prologue)

I, Ann Sue Masterson, left West Virginia a decade ago because the darkness there is a horror

 too raw and visceral for my soul!

 DARKNESS CALLING

(Charleston, West Virginia)

The night time in the darkened, lightless, pervasive West Virginia forest is darker than

 blackness!

Imagine the living things haunting these human-less tree filled valleys and peaks in the

 darkness!

Daytime here is primordial, ancient and dimly lit... and the darkness calls for the day to die!

Denizens know their stories of myth and horror live in the darkness... and they would rather 

keep that horror in the darkened forest!
