(Citrus County, Florida -- A.D. 2066)

...Oh yes, child, there was a time, long ago, when it was safe to walk outside in the sunshine without the Protection Suits.

There was a time of teeming life, of electricity, of tourists, of places to buy food, of community... and then it all ended when the mutations began.

Yes, my grandchild, it is indeed true what you mommy told you about us being long since forgotten by our government and left down here to die off.

Nobody above the section of the Pest Free Wall above Florida dares to come down here and risk being infected by these... goddamn mosquitoes!...
