A murdered Jason Mann yanked 11 shards of salty, dirty sharp rock from the soles of his mud caked feet.
He was presently huddled in bloody numbness with his back against the wet rock of the small cave halfway up the cliff face.
The fact that Max's thug bastards stripped him of his clothing was not the problem... but, to take away his shoes?
