The haunting spectre of death hangs low over Robert Janzen like a low hanging tree branch.

Robert has to constantly duck under it in order to keep his tenuous life alive for a few more days.

He can see it, just over there by the darkened corner, standing there looking at him with alien eyes.

Robert is 84 years old... suffering from his third stroke in a week... blood pressure bottomed out... and he still wants to hang on to life!
