It is awesome, picturesque, refreshing and soulful.

It can also be frightening, wind shorn, storm buffeted and mosquito plagued.

And when those storms rage in from the ocean, 

They can easily draw Horrorworld horror from... Off The Ocean!

...They waited a few minutes more before turning in unison to prepare to leave the river to its secret devices. But just then, before they completely turned around, the creature’s head popped up out of the water. 

Then it lifted its body out of the river up to its waist line area. 

It was expertly treading water, practically floating there looking into the eyes of the men....
