HANGING OUT UNDER A NORTH CAROLINA FULL MOON
The moon was a beautiful orb of silver light hanging high above the clear Summer nighttime.
I remember how sweetly earthy the warm humidity of the North Carolina air was that night.
I found a painful serenity as the crowd gathered around his dangling feet, cheering on his death.
This is coastal KKK country.... and for some of them, this is their accepted inevitable fate!
