A very sad Palmer James has been best friends with his Great Dane, Brindle, for six years.

They are traveling buddies and friends... he is more than a service dog... and Brindle might as well be a big lap dog.

Palmer has never put Brindle on a leash because Brindle is wise and as gentle as a spring breeze.
