It is going to happen, eventually!
In time, there will only be the crazy ones left with their weapons!
They will have killed off everyone else!
And, then what?

TO MURDER A PLANET (AN EXCERPT)
(What is left of planet earth in a future time)
Earth was a world populated by many war obsessed humans who loved their guns and bullets!
They were possessed with the obsessive desire to own personal weapons of mass destruction!
Inevitably, the populations murdered enough of themselves that the balance of nature stepped in!
And now, earth is a smoldering ball of black smoke, scorched earth, burning oceans and death... and these humans continue to hold onto their weapons!
