GOOD FOR NOTHING ADULTS

The last known adult died at 8:00 PM on 3-12-2212!

He was only 22 years old and he was very sick from the Age Forward Disease.

And now, Emma Mansion... all 12 years old of her... is the oldest kid of 30 more.

The next oldest to her is 10 years old and the youngest kid is 3 years old.

And her thoughts are profound, like... How do I keep order around here?

They have plenty of food.

They have plenty of shelter.

The electricity is still on.

And she remembers all the lessons of survival Jason taught her before he died.

"Goddamn it!" She swore. "Why did he have to die like all the other... Good For Nothing Adults!

GOOD FOR NOTHING ADULTS

I remember that old Star Trek episode where all the adults on this planet died from an aging illness and the kids took over.

A search party of adults from the Enterprise beamed down to the surface where they contracted the deadly illness.

I loved that episode... there is so much more to it... just like all of the adults dying off on earth, for real.

Except, we kids have no special powers, unfortunately, and so... who will work the machines when the adults are all dead?
